Venue: Wherever you are in the world! Join the brilliant Jon Jenkins (GBBO, series 9) live from Cardiff, Wales on Saturday 13th June at 4.00pm UK (11.00am New York), who will teach you the skills to make both a delicious sweet and savoury scone.
This is one of our favourite treats and you'll learn the skills to make this staple of any afternoon tea. You'll made a traditional scone with homemade jam and also learn Jon's classic cheese scone.
We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Jon's time on TV, before we ask you to put on our aprons & bake along as you watch Jon demonstrate all the skills required to make this lovely treat.
Our class will take around 90 minutes as we bake our masterpieces, before you can tuck into the fruits of your labour all whilst hearing fantastic memories and stories from Jon. Tickets are priced at £30 for individuals and £40 for groups of two or more that will join from the same household. Places are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or altered after purchase.
All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 24 hours before the class, and will arrange a full refund. All guests will be emailed a link to the class following their booking. Please note our classes are very much interactive and are limited to 16 participants. Jon will ensure he gives you feedback as we go whilst everyone will be encouraged to ask questions.

250g Plain Flour, 1tsp Bicarbonate of Soda, Pinch of salt, 175ml milk, 50g cold unsalted butter (diced), 1 x beaten egg for glazing, 2 tsp cream of tartar,
250g fresh raspberries, 250g caster sugar, juice of 1 lemon.
200g plain flour, 1tsp Baking Powder, Pinch of Salt, Pinch of pepper, 60g cold unsalted butter, diced, 100g mature cheddar, 100ml milk, 1 beaten egg for glazing.
