Join the brilliant Jane Beedle (GBBO Finalist, series 7) live from Kent, UK for her first online class, who will teach you the skills you need to master her fantastic Raspberry Jam, and Custard Doughnuts! The class starts at 8pm UK on Sunday 11th October. Jane is perfecting her recipe and the ingredients and equipment will appear below no later than Wednesday 23rd September.


We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Jane's time on TV, before we ask you to put on your aprons & bake along as you watch Jane demonstrate all the skills required to make Jane's delicious treat.


Our class will take around 1h 45 minutes as we bake our masterpieces, before you can tuck into the fruits of your labour all whilst hearing fantastic memories and stories from Jane,


Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same household. 


Places are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or altered after purchase. All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 48 hours before the class, and will arrange a full refund.


All guests will be emailed a link to the class following their booking.


Equipment Required:

4 Medium Bowls, Wooden Spoon, Spatula, Saucepan, Measuring Jug, Balloon Whisk, Grater, Baking Paper, Baking Tray, Thermometer (if you have one), Saucepan for Frying or Fryer, Kitchen Roll, Piping Bag


Ingredients Required:

For the Doughnuts:

100g Strong White Plain Bread Flour, 180g Plain White Flour, 1/4 tsp Grated Nutmeg, 40g Caster Sugar, Pinch of Salt, 120g Full Fat Milk at room temp, 40g Salted Butter - melted, 9g Instant Yeast, 1 Large Egg, Caster Sugar for finishing


For the Custard:

250ml Full Fat Milk, 1 Large Orange, zest only (you can use almond extract), 3 Large Egg Yolks,

1tsp Vanilla Extract, 60g Caster Sugar, 40g Plain Flour, 100ml Double Cream


For the Raspberry Jam:

250g Fresh Raspberries, Squeeze of Fresh Lemon Juice, 250g Granulated Sugar.


Vegetable Oil for Frying
