Howard Middleton (GBBO, Series 4) will show you the skills to master delicious gluten-free pastry. Learn how to make his hugely popular, melt-in-the-mouth sweet shortcrust, which we’ll transform into a brilliant batch of Bakewell tarts – fruity, almondy and decorated to your fancy. Then we’ll go savoury with a perfectly crisp, shallot-strewn choux – a real mouthful of cheesy peasiness.
We’ll start off the day with teas, coffees and pastries, before we put on our aprons and watch Howard demonstrate all the skills required to make this indulgent treat. We'll spend around 2 hours baking & beautifully decorating our masterpieces, before tucking in to the fruits of our labour whilst hearing stories about Howard's time on TV!
Your class also includes a glass of prosecco, snacks and soft drinks.
Please note all participants will bake in pairs.
Participants must be aged 12 years or over. Those aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
'Individual' tickets are £99 per person, whilst a 'Pair' ticket can be purchased for the discounted rate of £175.
All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 10 days before the class, and will offer a full refund, or a place at an alternative class of their choice.
