Join the brilliant Dan Beasley-Harling (GBBO, series 9) live from London who will teach you tackle the colourful tent favourite, the Battenberg!
We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Dan's time on TV, before we ask you to put on your aprons and bake along as you watch Dan demonstrate all the skills required to make Dan's delicious recipe.
Our class will take around 1h 45 minutes to 2 hours as we bake our masterpieces, before you can tuck into the fruits of your labour all whilst hearing fantastic memories and stories from Dan.
Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same household. Places are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or altered after purchase. All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 48 hours before the class, and will arrange a full refund.

8 inch square cake tin
180g unsalted butter, softened
180g caster sugar
150g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
50g ground almonds
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp almond extract
200g ground almonds
200g icing sugar
1 egg white*
*If you are nervous about the safety of your eggs, buy a carton of pasteurised egg whites, or pasteurise your eggs in their shells first
100g of Apricot jam
1 tsp water
