As part of our Autmumn programme Andrew Smyth (GBBO finalist) will lead our Pastry Masterclass and show you the skills to master his Paris-Brest - a classic French pastry as well as his delicious chocolate and orange tart! We'll learn Andrew's best tips for making a delicious choux pastry, a light chantilly cream, and caramel and praline shards, so that you are able to perfectly recreate this delicate dessert! Andrew will also show you how to make quick, but stylish, tart - a shortcrust pastry, filled with a creamy ganache. Delightful!
We’ll start off the day with teas, coffees and pastries, before we put on our aprons and watch Andrew demonstrate all the skills required to make these indulgent treats. We'll spend around 2 hours 30 minutes baking & beautifully decorating our masterpieces, before tucking in to the fruits of our labour whilst hearing stories about Andrew’s time on TV!
Your class also includes a glass of prosecco, snacks and soft drinks.
Please note all participants will bake in pairs.
Participants must be aged 12 years or over. Those aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
'Individual' tickets are £99 per person, whilst a 'Pair' ticket can be purchased for the discounted rate of £190.
All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 10 days before the class, and will offer a full refund, or a place at an alternative class of their choice.
