Andrew Smyth (GBBO Finalist, series 7) will teach you the skills you need to become a master macaron maker! We'll learn how to make two different types. Firstly, a modern take on a retro classic, as we make coca Italian Merignue macarons, filled with chocolate ganache and cherry jam, to pay homage to the Black Forest gateaux! The second macaron will be more traditional, with a zingy lime curd filling that you'll be desperate to show off to your friends!
We’ll start off the day with teas and coffees, before we put on our aprons and watch Andrew demonstrate all the skills required to make these indulgent treats. We'll spend around 2 hours baking, before tucking in to the fruits of our labour whilst hearing stories about Andrew's time on TV!
Your class also includes a glass of prosecco, snacks and soft drinks.
Please note all participants will bake in pairs.
Participants must be aged 12 years or over. Those aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
'Individual' tickets are £99 per person, whilst a 'Pair' ticket can be purchased for the discounted rate of £175.
All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 10 days before the class, and will offer a full refund, or a place at an alternative class of their choice.
