About the Event

Join the brilliant Rosie Brandreth (GBBO, series 10) live to bake this jiggly spring inspired creation, the Japanese Jiggle Cheesecake complete with a Kataifi Dough Easter Egg Nest. This recipe will see you trying out new skills as you bake something unlike anything you've baked before.

The class starts at 8pm UK on Sunday 4th April 2021 and all you need is access to Zoom via a computer, an iPad or a phone and you'll be connected! We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Rosie's time on TV, before we ask you to put on your aprons & bake along as you watch Rosie demonstrate all the skills required to make these little treats. Our class will take around 1h 45 minutes as we bake our masterpieces, before you can tuck into the fruits of your labour all whilst hearing fantastic memories and stories from Rosie.

Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same household. Places are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or altered after purchase.

All classes are subject to a minimum number of six attendees signing up. If the minimum number is not met, we will inform those who have purchased a place no later than 48 hours before the class, and will arrange a full refund. All guests will be emailed a link to the class following their booking.


· Large mixing bowl x 2

· Electric whisk (or a stand mixer if you have one)

· Mixing spoons/spatula

· Saucepan x 2

· 6 inch loose bottom cake tin x 2 (1 can be a sandwich tin but 1 needs higher sides)

· Baking paper

· Pastry brush

· Zester

· Balloon (hand) whisk

· Piping bag

· Sieve

· Roasting tin

· Baking tray


For the kataifi dough:

· 125g plain flour

· 75g corn flour

· ¼ tsp salt

· 1 tbsp vegetable oil (plus extra to grease pan)

· 300ml water

· 2 tbsp butter (to brush the pastry)

· Mini chocolate eggs to decorate

For the syrup:

· 100g caster sugar

· 100ml water

· 2 tbsp lemon juice

For the cheesecake:

· 30g butter

· 35g cream cheese

· 40ml milk

· 3 egg yolks

· 170g egg whites (4-5 eggs)

· 20g plain flour

· 20g corn flour

· Zest of 4 lemons

· 70g caster sugar
