About the Event
Join the brilliant Rosie Brandreth (GBBO, series 10) live to teach you the skills you need to bake a selection of delicious Danish pastries, both sweet and savoury.
This class takes place on Sunday 1st May at the following times:
9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK GMT

A pinwheel goat cheese and caramelised onion Danish, an iced cinnamon spiral and a filled custard and raspberry diamond. The rich, laminated yeasted dough creates a uniquely indulgent breakfast pastry, we are however breaking slightly with tradition to make a savoury version which is equally scrumptious and makes for a perfect treat.
Bake With A Legend Online Classes are an interactive experience, where we limit group sizes to around 20 to ensure an intimate online setting. Not only do you have your celebrity baker teaching you, but you also have one of our brilliant Bake With A Legend hosts who will ensure the smooth running of your experience ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves.
If you need any help at any point during the class, you’ll be encouraged to raise your hand and your baker will be virtually joining you in your own kitchen in no time to assist you!
You’ll bake along in tandem with Rosie, learning many tips and tricks a long the way as you perfect all the skills required to make Rosie's delicious selection of Danish Pastries. Rosie will also be on hand to answer your questions, be those about baking or her experiences of being involved on such an iconic television show.
Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same screen. Please note we can accept requests to move classes with two or more weeks notice prior to the class – any requests to do so, will incur a £5 administrative charge.
Once booked in, all guests will be emailed a full recipe and the zoom link required to join us for the class. Just in case you don’t spot it please check junk mail!

· bowl or tray for the crème pat to cool in, bowl to cool the caramelised onions
For the pastry:
· 300g strong white flour
· 200g plain flour
· 14g instant yeast
· 30g caster sugar
· 7g salt
· 125ml milk (chilled)
· 1 egg
· 100ml water (chilled)
· 250g butter (chilled) – pre-sliced as thinly as you can – about 2mm
· Plus a beaten egg to glaze (you can use the egg whites left over from the crème pat)
For the cinnamon filling:
· 100g butter (softened)
· 1 tbsp cinnamon
· ¼ tsp salt
· 50g soft brown sugar
For the icing – 1 tbsp egg whites, 5 tbsp icing sugar
For the caramelised onion and goat cheese filling:
· 1 medium red onion
· 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
· 50g soft brown sugar
· 4 tsp goat cheese – (cream cheese if fine if you’re not a fan of goat!)
For the custard filling:
· 250ml milk (semi skimmed or full)
· ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
· 3 egg yolks
· 40g caster sugar
· Tbsp corn flour
· Tbsp plain flour
· Raspberries to decorate (you can use thinly sliced apple if preferred)
