Join the brilliant Jane Beedle (GBBO Finalist, series 7) live from Kent, UK, who will teach you the skills you need to bake her Sausage Puff Pastry Wreath with Chipotle Mayo.
This class takes place on Saturday 10th December at the following times:
9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK GMT

Jane will show you how to make her quick and easy rough puff pastry, her meat-lovers or veggie filling, then to finish off, you'll make Jane's spicy Chipotle Mayo. A perfect festive showstopper to take to your next Christmas party!
Bake With A Legend Online Classes are an interactive experience, where we limit group sizes to around 20 to ensure an intimate online setting. Not only do you have your celebrity baker teaching you, but you also have one of our brilliant Bake With A Legend hosts who will ensure the smooth running of your experience ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves.
If you need any help at any point during the class, you’ll be encouraged to raise your hand and your baker will be virtually joining you in your own kitchen in no time to assist you!
You’ll bake along in tandem with Jane, learning many tips and tricks a long the way as you perfect all the skills required to make Jane's delicious Sausage Wreath. Jane will also be on hand to answer your questions, be those about baking or her experiences of being involved on such an iconic television show.
Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same screen. Please note we can accept requests to move classes with two or more weeks notice prior to the class – any requests to do so, will incur a £5 administrative charge.
Once booked in, all guests will be emailed a full recipe and the zoom link required to join us for the class. Just in case you don’t spot it please check junk mail!
Bowls Baking Sheet lined with baking paper Electric hand whisk or balloon whisk Rolling pin Forks/knives/spoons Frying pan Pastry brush Non stick baking paper
For the rough puff pastry:
125g Strong white bread flour
125g Plain flour plus extra for dusting
½ tsp Salt
50g Salted butter in small cubes – very cold
Ice cold water 200g
Salted butter – very cold
For the wreath filling:
1 Red onion – grated
1 Garlic clove grated very finely
1tsp Dried thyme
½ tsp Ground Allspice
1 tsp American style or English mustard
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Beaten eggs for glazing
*Or you can use your favourite sausages
For the vegetarian filling:
300g Sweet potato, peeled weight, cubed and roasted until soft
390g Tin of Red Kidney Beans
30g Pine nuts, dry fried
100g Panko breadcrumbs, or fresh breadcrumbs dry fried until crisp but not brown
100g Grated carrot
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
2 Vegetable Oxo/bouillon cubes or teaspoons of veg stock powder
1 tsp Dried thyme
150g Extra mature cheddar - grated
1 tsp Chipotle paste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the chipotle mayonnaise:
1 large egg yolk
1 tbsp White wine vinegar or lemon juice
Salt to taste
Chipotle paste to taste
200ml Neutral oil – light rapeseed oil, light olive oil, sunflower oil, canola oil etc.
