About the Event
Join the brilliant Jane Beedle (GBBO Finalist, series 7) live from Kent, UK who will guide you through baking her delicious Christmas Tree Winterwonderland Cake. Your friends and family this Christmas with this stunning Chocolate and Cherry Winter Wonderland cake. This will soon become a favourite for the festive season, layers of soft chocolate sponge, cherry jam and white chocolate buttercream all decorated in a woodland style. You don’t need to be an expert cake decorator to create this show stopping Christmas cake. HoHoHo!!
The class starts at 5pm UK on Sunday 12th December 2021. We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Jane's time on TV, before we ask you to put on your aprons and bake along as you watch Jane demonstrate all the skills required to make Jane's delicious treats.
Our class will take around 2hours as we bake our masterpieces, before you can tuck into the fruits of your labour all whilst hearing fantastic memories and stories from Jane, Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same household. Places are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or altered after purchase. All guests will be emailed a link to the class following their booking.

For the Chocolate Cake
225g (16 tbsp) Salted Butter, softened
325g (1 2/3 cups) Caster Sugar (superfine)
3 Large Eggs*
1tsp Vanilla Extract
350g (1 ½ cups) Whole Milk
325g (2 ½ cups) Plain Flour**
60g (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) Cocoa Powder
2tsp Baking Powder
1tsp Bicarbonate of soda
Pinch of Salt
100g (approx. ½ cup) Dark Chocolate, Melted
1tsp Instant Coffee dissolved in 1tbsp hot water
For the White Chocolate Buttercream
300g (approx. 1 2/3 cups) White Chocolate
250g (1 cup) Unsalted Butter
300g (2 2/3 cups) Icing Sugar
For the Jam
200g (approx. 1–1 ½ cups) Frozen Dark cherries
150g (¾ cups) Sugar, granulated or caster
For the Decoration:
200g (1 cup) White chocolate + 20g (2 tbsp)
Chocolate matchmakers or round lolly sticks
300g (1 ½ cups) + 30g (2 tbsp) dark chocolate
Green gel colouring
Sprinkles Icing sugar for dusting
*UK Large Egg = US Extra-Large Egg
**If using cups, gently spoon flour into measuring cup. Do not pack in.

This ticket is for more than one person, but using one device
