Join the brilliant Howard Middleton (GBBO series 4) live from Sheffield, who will teach you the skills you need to master his delightful Easter Bunny, made from 12 yummy individual cupcakes, decorated with soft buttercream 'fur' and decorated with your favourite Easter chocolates; perfect for any family gathering this Easter holiday. 

The class is on Saturday 30th March and takes place at the following times:

8.30am PT / 10.30am CT / 11.30am ET / 3.30pm UK

The class will take around one hour. 

This will give you a sample of what a full length class with Bake With A Legend entails whilst making a delicious treat. This class will be great for all the family so do invite all your friends and family to sign up - it's completely FREE.

All you need is access to Zoom via a computer, an iPad or a phone and you'll be connected! We’ll start off the class with an introductory welcome and some background from Howard's time on TV, before we ask you to put on your aprons & bake along as you watch Howard demonstrate all the skills required to make this delicious Easter treat. 

Please note this class will be taught in a webinar format and will likely have several hundred people joining us, unlike our normal classes, which are restricted to around twenty. Registration is essential and the only way to get an invite link to this class.


12-hole cupcake pan *

12 paper cupcake cases

Electric hand mixer and mixing bowls or stand mixer

Large metal spoon

Wire cooling rack

Piping bag

Piping nozzle – ideally a multi-open (sometimes called a grass or vermicelli nozzle) but any will do really Large rectangular display plate, board or tray


* This will work in a muffin pan with paper muffin cases but there will be less mixture in each case, so you’ll need to trim the paper cases with scissors after baking.


For the cupcakes:

4 large eggs

100g caster sugar

65g unsalted butter, melted

2½ tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

150g plain flour (for chocolate cakes replace 1 tbsp of the flour with cocoa powder)

¾ tsp baking powder

For the buttercream:

250g unsalted butter, softened at room temperature

500g icing sugar

Optional flavouring of choice, e.g., vanilla, or cocoa powder for a brown bunny

For the decorations (all optional):

Sugar-coated mini chocolate eggs, e.g., Cadbury’s mini   eggs

Pink, black, and blue food colouring

White sugar fondant or chocolate buttons
