About the Event
Join the brilliant Dan Beasley Harling (GBBO, series 9) live from London who will teach you the skills you need to master his Focaccia and Ciabatta Breadsticks.
This class takes place on Saturday April 23rd at the following times:
9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK GMT
Please allow up to 2 hours for this class.
In this class you’ll gain confidence handling high hydration doughs, and learn how to make two classic Italian breads. Firstly, a delicious fast focaccia, studded with roasted garlic, caramelised onions, tomatoes and rosemary. And in between proves, we’ll also find time to make some delicious feta and olive ciabatta breadsticks, and a refreshing tzatziki dip. Come hungry!
Bake With A Legend Online Classes are an interactive experience, where we limit group sizes to around 20 to ensure an intimate online setting. Not only do you have your celebrity baker teaching you, but you also have one of our brilliant Bake With A Legend hosts who will ensure the smooth running of your experience ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves.
If you need any help at any point during the class, you’ll be encouraged to raise your hand and your baker will be virtually joining you in your own kitchen in no time to assist you!
You’ll bake along in tandem with Dan, learning many tips and tricks a long the way as you perfect all the skills required to make Dan's delicious Focaccia and Ciabatta Breadsticks. Dan will also be on hand to answer your questions, be those about baking or his experiences of being involved on such an iconic television show.
Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same screen. Please note we can accept requests to move classes with two or more weeks notice prior to the class – any requests to do so, will incur a £5 administrative charge.

Stand Mixer with dough hook (optional, but preferable)
For the Dough:
800g (3 1/2 Cups) Warm Water ~38C / 100F (temp of a warm bath)
40g (2tbsp) Instant Yeast
1kg (8 Cups*) Strong White Bread Flour, plus extra
20g (1tbsp + 1/2tsp) Salt
For the Ciabatta:
120g (1/2 Cup + 3tbsp) Feta
50g (1/3 Cup) Black Olives
For the Focaccia:
1 Large Bulb of Garlic
1 Large Red Onion
100g (2/3 Cups) Cherry Tomatoes
For the Tzatziki:
400g (1 2/3 Cups) Greek Yoghurt
2 Gloves Garlic, minced
2tbsp Olive Oil
1tbsp White Wine Vinegar
A Handfull of Fresh Mint, or Dill
Salt to taste
