Andrew Smyth

Andrew was a finalist on the Great British Bake Off 2016 where he quickly became a fan favourite for his warm personality and incredibly creative bakes. Using his experience as an Aerospace Engineer, Andrew brought his precise innovation to the tent with memorable bakes such as his tower of rotating pies, gingerbread bridge and ferris wheel of mini mousse cakes. 

 

Since being on the show Andrew has appeared as a chef on ITV's Lorraine, BBC's Christmas Kitchen and has even baked a rotating jet engine cake for Prince William! He regularly presents and speaks around the country at food and science festivals and loves meeting fans of the show to share his passion for baking.

 

He's looking forward to welcoming you into the kitchen to pick up a few tips and tricks, enjoy some delicious bakes and most of all have a great time!
